During the summer, Hennepin County Board of Commissioners were presented with a proposal to partially fund a self-sustaining culturally specific shelter model, they denied that request. We are here to highlight their shameful decision and demand reconsideration. The status quo shelter model doesn’t work for our Relatives and we need an approach that works.
